New Travel Blogs to Follow

You know when you are looking for something and google just doesn’t want to show you what you need? Well this can also be very frustrating for new travel bloggers because, sometimes, we know what you are looking for, but we are not in the cool kids so we don’t appear in Google Search. Well, just like in a Hollywood movie, I decided to create a new gang from newbie travel bloggers. We got our Team shirts, our water guns and a puppy as our mascot! So, you better be ready because there’s a new gang in town! Bam! Okay… winter in Montreal makes me watched too many movies… Don’t do like me and, instead, take a look at these 15 New Travel Blogs that you should follow, they’re great! :) 1. Gallop Around The Globe You’re planning a trip to Peru? Kiara is definitely your girl. From the well-known Cusco to small villages, she has a lot to teach you about this country. Boston – The truth About Love and Entrepreneurship

Last weekend, I went to my first Women in Travel Summit in Boston. To be honest, the conference really appealed to me, but I was apprehensive that I might hate being there. I’m an introvert, I’m not good at networking, and I generally lose the “How many countries have you visited?” contest. I didn’t want to have to justify my existence to other more experienced bloggers. I wanted to meet new people, share about our passion for travel and just generally enjoy to be in Boston. Well, this is exactly what happened. Was that some kind of “law of attraction”? …I don’t think so. I now believe that women entrepreneurship is inherent with love. Three speakers catch my attention and gave us tips we can apply not only in our business, but also in our lives. (And I couldn’t resist putting pictures of my highlights in Boston here and there…) 1. Catrice M. Jackson – Cashing in On You Catrice started her conference with a simple-not-so-simple question: “What would you do differently if you knew for sure that the only REAL currency in life is YOU?” If you were in a situation where there’s no money except your personality, your soul, the way you […]

Does travelling alone makes you a better traveller?

How to NOT Quit Your Job, And Travel the World

This week, I’ll travel for the first time alone. Does this mean I deserve the “Real Traveller” badge now? Is there some kind of new world that is unlocked or something? Being a part of the travel bloggers community now (kind of), I feel more and more pressure to perform, to prove to the world that I am a very special traveller. But I am not. I cannot promise I’ll visit every country in the World, but I’ll try. I am not really enthusiastic about eating insects in some tribes. Seriously, I’d prefer to eat the most common meal. I don’t mind sleeping on a couch, but I sure prefer to sleep in a bed. And most importantly, I don’t think you have to quit your life to enjoy the world. I need to say it, I’m a little sick of the “How to quit your job and travel the world” thing. If that’s what you want to do, that’s great! But please don’t pretend that people who don’t are missing something or don’t understand what “real life” is. Personally, I like to go just as much as I like to come back. I like being in a new place where […]

Let's go!

And it’s a GO!

I’ve read all kinds of travel blogs for a looooong time, getting inspired by the stories of multiple travellers around the world. From the expats to the newbies. All kinds of Do’s and Dont’s. And COUNTLESS Top 10s. I cannot deny I’m a travel addict and going outside my country is essential to my mental health. Stealing information, laughing at misadventures and dreaming of new destinations without ever posting a comment (Please don’t do that to me!), I feel that it is about time I begin to share too. So come on Annie, be a Big Girl and jump into the internet like other people do! I hope you’ll have a great time reading tiny pieces of my life and that, at some point, I can inspire you to travel more and live a life of happiness and discoveries! (…just that) Let’s write this blog!
